Getting started.
Press a pill — each one is the real board doing the move. The Start here deck on your shelf says the same things on cards.
On the shelf
New Deck

The first card on the shelf. Press it and a fresh board opens.
Open

Tap a deck. It opens where you left it, fitted to the screen.
Search

Press the loupe and type a word. It finds decks by name and by what is written on the cards.
Folder

Press New Folder, give it a name. Press Edit, then Move on a deck — or just drag the deck onto the folder. Main is home: decks start there, and dragging one onto the Main pill takes it back out.
Rename

Press Edit, then Rename on a deck or a folder, and type over the name.
Delete

Press Edit, then the bin on a deck. It goes to the trash. A folder goes with everything in it.
Trash

Choose Trash in the Filter menu. Restore brings a deck back; a folder comes back whole, and one deck out of a trashed folder lands in Main. Anything left there goes for good after 30 days.
My Account

Your plan, the cancel link, export everything, delete the account.
On the board
Card

A tray opens under the button: Add, Paste, Clone, Shape, Color and Default. Add puts a card in the empty space nearest the middle of the board; Paste makes one holding what is on the clipboard. Tap the card and write.
Write

Tap a card and type. Edit a filled card; the old words stay struck through underneath.
Move

Hold the hand chip on its corner and drag. Dragging the card works too.
Line

Line on the rail opens a tray: Add, and what the next line looks like — its type, its fill, its thickness, its color and its ends; with a line selected, the same rows change that line. Add arms the tool: press one card, then the other, and the line is drawn between them — it stays armed for the next. Or draw it on the empty board: press and drag, or tap where it starts and tap where it ends. A line can stand on its own, and either end can be moved onto a card later. Or pull one out of the chip under a card.
Color

Tap a card, then Card on the rail: Shape and Color hold the border, the border color and the card color, each on its own page.
Note
Words anywhere. Tap a card, then Note: its font, size and text color. Add, in Note's tray, puts a note on the board with no card under the words; Paste makes one from the clipboard.
Image
Add chooses an image, Paste takes the one on the clipboard — it lands on its own on the board. Drag it onto a card or a note and it goes inside; drag a picture out of a box and it stands on its own again. Two taps on an image bring out its corners, Copy and Delete.
Board
The board's own color and texture — dots, a grid, checks or plain, with a size and a color. Follow theme, on, lets light and dark paint it; a color you set stays.
Resize

One tap on a card and its handle is on the lower right corner. Pull it and the other three come out; the tether below spins it.
Select

Press Pan, then Select. Drag a box around cards and lines; move or resize them all at once.
Undo

More, then Undo — or ⌘Z anywhere. Undo covers everything. Nothing asks twice.
Saved

It saves itself. Watch Saved under the map, bottom right; there is no button. With no connection it reads Saved on this device: what you make is kept there, the app still opens and works, and it is saved the moment you are back.
Home

Back to the shelf. The board is already saved.
The right button, and the hold
Right-click anything — a card, a note, an image, a line, or the board itself — and a menu opens on it. On a phone it is a press and hold. What it offers is what that thing can do; the bottom four are always Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete, with Undo and Redo above them. Some things are only here: Select All, adding a card, a note or an image next to where you pressed, and swapping one picture for another.
Questions people ask
What is charged, and when?
Nothing today. Seven days free, then the plan you chose on day 8, then every month or year until you cancel. The date and the amount are on My Account.
How do I cancel?
From My Account, one link, no questions. Inside the free week nothing is charged; later, the board stays open to the end of what you paid for, then goes read-only.
Can I get a refund?
Fourteen days from any charge: write to support@cardigani.app and it goes back to your card, no questions. The full policy: /legal/refunds.
What does “lifetime” mean?
The lifetime of Cardigani, honestly stated: 90 days' notice if it ever ends, export works throughout, and nobody is asked for money to retrieve their own decks.
How do I change the card, or the plan?
My Account → Cancel or update card opens the billing page: update the card, switch Monthly and Yearly (the difference is prorated). Lifetime is a purchase, not a switch.
Where are my receipts?
Stripe mails one for every charge, and the same billing page lists every invoice.
Two devices?
Open the same deck on both. Each side saves itself and the other sees it within seconds. If both edit one card, the newer words win and the other's stay struck through under them.
No connection?
It still opens and works. What you make is kept on that device — Saved on this device, under the map — and saved to your account the moment you are back. A deck you have never opened on that device needs a connection the first time. Sign Out takes the kept copy off the device.
I deleted a deck by mistake.
It is in the trash, not gone: on the shelf choose Trash in the Filter menu and press Restore. It comes back to the folder it was in. If you deleted the whole folder, the folder is in the trash too — open it to take one deck back, or restore the folder and get everything at once. Anything left in the trash goes for good after 30 days.
How do I export my decks?
My Account → Export everything: one zip, a folder per deck — the board as an SVG you can open and print, the cards as plain text in reading order, the data as JSON — plus one PDF of every board. Whatever your plan says.
How do I delete my account?
My Account → Delete my account. Every deck goes at once; backups age out within 14 days. Invoices stay, because the law makes us keep them.
I got signed out.
Sign in with Google again, the same address; your decks are where you left them. Invited testers use the link in their letter.
I paid and can't get in.
Give it a minute — the payment provider tells us a few seconds after you pay. Still locked? Reply to the "You're in" mail with the address you paid with, and it is fixed the same day.
Anything else
Write to support@cardigani.app. It reaches me, not a queue.
